Yar / The Beloved is my oldest short film(2008) about a corrupted and isolated engineer's process of creation attempt. ...This movie is one of the possible results of lack of satisfaction through time, and result of it, paradox. Endless confliction of artificial and flesh.
I got inspired by my hometown; very small town called Malkara in Turkey, while creating the setting and the character. Also I was pretty obsessed with Jan Svankmajer and Quay Brothers at that time.
